Ask for the best source file guests have

If someone sends a screenshot of a photo, the screenshot is the uploaded file. If they first save a compressed copy from another service, that copy is what you receive. Ask guests to select the picture from their own photo library where possible, rather than taking a screenshot of a message.

The phone or source application may also prepare an export before upload. WeddingPhoto App cannot recreate information that is no longer in the submitted file. For important pictures, compare a downloaded sample with the source the guest intended to send.

Download the collection from the host gallery

Open the event’s host gallery and use the download controls for the collection you want. Allow time for the archive to prepare and transfer. Large collections require local storage and browser resources as well as a working connection.

If an archive reports failures, do not assume it contains every item. Check the result and retry missing files. Keep the online collection available until you have opened the downloaded copy and verified the pictures and videos you care about.

Check the backup in three ways

1. Open it: extract the ZIP and open representative files, including a video.
2. Compare it: inspect a sample’s dimensions and file size against the submitted source, if available.
3. Duplicate it: save another copy on a separate storage destination you control.

A gallery thumbnail is a viewing aid. It is not proof that your downloaded archive is complete. Likewise, seeing the ZIP filename on your device does not prove that the transfer finished successfully.

Plan around storage expiry

Intimate includes two months of storage, Celebration six months and Forever one year, measured from the event date. The product name Forever does not mean permanent storage. Upload windows are separate and may close sooner. See current plan details and schedule your download while access remains available.

Choose whether guests can download

The host’s ability to save the collection is separate from guest download access. Configure the guest gallery and its download setting for the audience you intend. A shared link can be forwarded, so review the collection before opening it to a wider group.
