13 Best Wedding Photo Sharing Apps in 2026

Compare 13 wedding photo sharing apps by guest uploads, price, privacy and storage. Find the right fit for galleries, Google Drive, live walls or disposable cameras.

Best wedding photo sharing apps: quick picks

WeddingPhoto App is our overall pick for a hosted wedding guest gallery. WeddingPhoto App combines browser uploads without guest accounts, photo and video collection, host review and original-file ZIP downloads. Choose Pix Wedding for a free upload trial and longer entry-plan storage, GUESTPIX for invitations and RSVPs, or Kululu when a reception photo wall is your priority. For files in your own Google Drive, shortlist WedUploader and Glint; for a disposable-camera activity, try POV.

This is the broad platform comparison. For a narrower purchase decision, compare QR wedding photo services, services without guest downloads, or guest camera-roll upload workflows. The provider research and dated pricing scenarios below cover the wider choice.

Test the guest upload workflow before choosing an app

A short feature list cannot tell you whether your aunt will know her video arrived. Rehearse six stages with someone who has not set up the event. Use an iPhone and an Android phone, a portrait, a landscape photo, an older camera-roll picture and a short video with sound. This is a test you can run, not a reliability score from our research.

  1. Scan: open a printed QR proof and the clickable invitation link. Check cellular data as well as venue Wi-Fi; a network login screen can stop an otherwise good flow.
  2. Arrival: confirm the first screen names the correct wedding and makes the upload action obvious without host instructions.
  3. Access: record any account, app, PIN or permission request. A browser page can still require a login, so test while signed out.
  4. Selection: use the normal phone photo picker to select several existing files together. Guests should choose what they share; scanning is not permission to take their whole camera roll.
  5. Transfer: look for visible progress, then test an interrupted upload. Can a guest identify and retry failed files without resending the successful ones? Do not assume the browser keeps transferring after it closes.
  6. Success: wait for a clear completion message, check every file in the host collection and download the originals. Compare image dimensions and play the video with sound. A thumbnail alone does not establish delivery.

Repeat the viewing check on a second guest phone. If moderation is enabled, the new contribution should stay out of the shared gallery until approved. For WeddingPhoto App's specific transfer and retry behavior, see the guest upload flow.

How we compared the best wedding photo sharing apps

WeddingPhoto App publishes this comparison and is one of the products included. We apply the same six comparison criteria across providers and link to primary provider sources for the product claims used here.

We used the same six checks for every option: whether a guest can contribute without an account, whether the service accepts video, who can view new uploads, how the couple gets the original files back, when uploads close, and when stored files expire. These details affect the real wedding workflow more than a long feature list.

Starting price vs. the plan your wedding needs

Starting price is the cheapest advertised paid plan. The price for your wedding is the cheapest plan that covers your upload deadline, file count and features. A lower starting price can mean a shorter upload window or fewer files.

For example, WeddingPhoto App starts at $39 for 15 post-event upload days. If your guests need 30 days, the right plan is Celebration at $59. That is $20 more than the starting price—not an extra fee added to the same plan.

Our September 12 comparison uses three examples: one event with 50 guests, 1,000 photos, 50 videos and 30 days for uploads; a 120-guest reception adding a slideshow and 60 days of viewing; and a weekend with three separate collections. All require browser contributions and bulk export. These are planning scenarios, not measured wedding averages.

ProviderStarting pricePlan for the requirementCheck before buying
WeddingPhoto App$39 Intimate$59 Celebration for 30 upload days or a slideshow; $89 Forever for three eventsIncluded storage expires by plan; check technical file limits.
Pix Wedding$49 Starter promotional$49 for the small-wedding timing/count requirement; $59 Standard adds a slideshowSix sub-albums do not establish six independent events.
Kululu$39 Plus promotional$99 Pro for 1,050 files; Plus allows 500Fair use applies. High-quality export is not a verified byte-original guarantee.
Glint$19 Event Pass launch price$45 bundle for three events, plus any extra Google storage neededCapacity depends on your remaining Drive space and file sizes.
GUESTPIXNumeric price unavailable in our checkClassic covers the published small-scenario window; Bundle includes three galleriesGet the current quote. Bundle access runs from purchase.
WedUploaderNumeric price unavailable in our latest checkOne package covers multiple albums; allow for extra Drive storage if neededThe price display stayed Loading; storage is in the host's Drive.

Using the quoted prices, WeddingPhoto App's $39-to-$59 step is $20 (51.3%); Pix's $49-to-$59 slideshow step is $10 (20.4%); Kululu's $39-to-$99 file-cap step is $60 (153.8%). Taxes and optional services are excluded.

At an assumed 4 MB per photo and 100 MB per video, those files need about 9 GB per event or 27 GB across three. A Drive-based option therefore needs enough unused account storage. See the Drive storage calculation and Pix plan-by-plan comparison for the decisions behind these numbers.

Which apps let guests upload without logging in?

WeddingPhoto App, GUESTPIX, Pix Wedding, GuestCam, Kululu, WedUploader, Wedibox, Gathmo, Fotify, Glint and EventPix advertise guest contribution without an installed app. Host setup still requires an account; Drive-based tools also require the host to connect Google. POV uses an iOS App Clip or an Android web experience for its camera. Test the guest link on both phones rather than judging the service by its host dashboard.

Our guide to sharing wedding photos without an app explains the available workflows. Use the guest phone checklist to check permissions and confirmation screens before printing.

1. WeddingPhoto App: hosted collection with review and ZIP export

Guests scan your event QR code and upload selected photos and videos in their browser. You manage the gallery, decide whether guests can view it, and can require review before uploads appear. All current paid plans include unlimited guests and media within their upload windows and technical usage limits.

The one-time prices are $39, $59 and $89 USD. Intimate includes one event, uploads until 15 days after the event and two months of storage. Celebration includes one event, 45 days for uploads, six months of storage and a live slideshow. Forever includes three events, 180 days for uploads, one year of storage and the slideshow. See current pricing and product facts.

Our recommendation by wedding plan: for a single event where you will collect promptly and save your own backup, start with Intimate. For a reception slideshow, choose Celebration. For three celebrations or a longer contribution period, compare Forever. Guest count does not determine the paid tier; event count, collection time and slideshow access do.

When another app wins: WeddingPhoto App has no free hosted collection plan, audio guestbook or built-in RSVP manager. Intimate has a shorter upload window than many alternatives, and live slideshow access starts at $59. Choose it for the collection, review and download workflow; choose a specialist below if its extra feature is essential.

We also measured one real August 2026 WeddingPhoto App wedding: 126 invited guests produced 712 files from 41 contributors. The full event breakdown appears after all 13 app reviews.

2. GUESTPIX: best fit for invitations, RSVPs and a guestbook

GUESTPIX advertises browser access through a QR code or private link, plus invitations, RSVPs, guestbooks and slideshow features. If those extras matter, compare the complete package rather than the upload screen alone. See its wedding product page and our GUESTPIX comparison.

Classic lists three months for uploads and 12 months of hosting from the event date, with photo/video slideshow and content moderation. A free 50-photo, 30-day demo lets you explore the workflow. Choose it when those event tools replace other services you would otherwise need; do not assume its paid package and free demo have the same limits.

3. Pix Wedding: best fit for trying uploads before paying

Pix Wedding starts free with 20 uploads and no payment card. Its listed $49 Starter plan includes unlimited photos and videos, three months of uploads and six months of storage. That is a longer entry-plan window than WeddingPhoto App’s $39 Intimate tier.

Choose Pix if a free trial or collecting months after the wedding matters most. Standard is listed at $59 and adds a live slideshow, up to six sub-albums, an audio guestbook, six months for uploads and one year of storage. Our Pix Wedding comparison explains the tradeoff with our shorter windows and lower entry price. Both accept guest uploads in a browser.

4. GuestCam: best fit for finding each guest’s photos

GuestCam combines browser photo and video uploads with an audio guestbook. Its distinctive MagicFind option lets a guest submit a selfie to find pictures they appear in, including a photographer’s uploaded collection. That is useful when finding individual portraits matters as much as collecting the whole album.

The tradeoff: MagicFind costs $45 per event on top of a gallery plan; it is not part of the $49 promotional Standard price. Standard includes six months for uploads, 12 months of storage and a live slideshow. Compare the GuestCam plans and add-ons and our GuestCam comparison. We have not measured its photo-matching accuracy; review the selfie workflow with guests before choosing it.

5. Kululu: best fit for a reception photo wall

Kululu’s pricing page includes a live photo wall across its plans. The free option allows 50 uploads, remains active for 24 hours from the event date and stores uploads for seven days. Plus is listed at $39 for 500 photo or video uploads, one month of activity and three months of storage. Pro is $99 for unlimited uploads under fair use, three months of activity, one year of storage and moderation tools.

For a slideshow on a tight budget, compare Kululu Plus with WeddingPhoto App Celebration at $59: the former costs less, while the latter includes unlimited uploads and host review. If approving each image before it reaches a reception screen is essential, compare those controls with Kululu Pro. See the full Kululu comparison.

6. WedUploader: best fit for multiple albums in Google Drive

WedUploader sends original guest photos and videos into the host’s Google Drive without guest logins. Its one-time premium package covers unlimited albums and includes shared galleries, a private guestbook, voicemails and a live slideshow. Separate albums can suit the shower, rehearsal and wedding day.

The tradeoff: you manage the connected Google account and its storage quota. “No expiration” for an album does not give your Drive unlimited space. Check the current dynamically loaded price before paying. Our WedUploader alternative guide compares that ownership model with a separately hosted gallery.

7. Wedibox: best fit for a wedding website and gallery together

Wedibox offers a $49 Wedding plan with unlimited photo and video uploads, a wedding website, audio messages, slideshow and original-quality ZIP. It lists six months of uploads and one year of storage. The $79 All-In-One plan adds RSVPs, meals, plus-ones and a live seating chart.

The tradeoff: seating and RSVP tools require the higher tier. If your wedding website is already finished, its separate $29 Embed plan may be the closer fit: it places a photo/video gallery inside a supported site and has a three-month upload window. Check your website builder’s embed support before choosing that route.

8. Gathmo: best fit for trying photos, videos and voice notes together

Gathmo’s free plan accepts 60 mixed uploads within 5 GB for a 30-day album, including short videos and voice notes. It is a useful way to try spoken guest messages alongside photos before buying a full wedding collection. Essential is listed at $49 with 50 GB, a 90-day album, moderation and original ZIP downloads.

The tradeoff: unlimited upload counts on paid plans still have storage caps. The free tier has 30-second video/voice limits and excludes original downloads; Essential permits videos up to five minutes. A live wall starts with the $79 Celebrate tier. Decide whether preserving voices or displaying photos is the feature you need.

9. Fotify: best fit for a lower-cost photo gallery

Fotify’s Photo Gallery plan lists €29.99 per event for unlimited photos, original-resolution ZIP downloads and AI moderation, with 30 days of uploads and 90 days of access. Its free tier allows 50 photos and seven days of uploads and access. That makes it worth considering for a photo-focused reception.

The tradeoff: video requires Premium (€49.99) or above. Premium has limits on video duration and long-video count, even though photos are unlimited. It also adds RSVP management and seating tools, with 90-day uploads and 365-day access. Email and SMS invitations use credits; shared invitation links do not. Treat AI moderation as a feature to test, not a guarantee that every unwanted image is caught.

10. Glint: best fit for Drive storage and custom QR design

Glint puts original photos and videos directly in your Google Drive. Its Event Pass combines a custom QR designer, a separate shared gallery link and a live slideshow. The published upload system supports resumable uploads and files up to 500 MB, worth checking with the longer phone videos you expect to receive.

The tradeoff: your Drive quota supplies the storage, and the paid upload page closes after 12 months. Existing files stay in your Drive. The Event Pass is $19 at launch, rising to $29; a free event allows 50 uploads and 30 days of access. Audio guestbook is marked “coming soon,” so do not choose Glint today specifically for voice messages.

11. EventPix: best fit for a budget photo slideshow

EventPix.photo focuses on QR photo collection, a shared gallery and a live slideshow, with no guest login. Basic is $19 for one album and 500 photos; Plus is $39 for three albums and 2,000 photos. Its host controls let you approve photos before showing them, which matters when the gallery is on a reception screen.

The tradeoff: these packages are priced around photo allowances. Do not treat them as an unlimited photo-and-video collection. Event plans list upload windows of three to 12 months and downloadable gallery access of six to 12 months; confirm the window attached to your chosen tier. Each plan includes a practice Sandbox album for rehearsing the setup.

12. POV: best fit for a disposable-camera activity

POV makes taking pictures part of the wedding activity: you set the number of shots each guest can take and when the photos are revealed. Guests join through a QR code or link, using an iOS App Clip or an Android web experience. A delayed reveal can suit couples who want a shared surprise after the party.

The tradeoff: this camera-led experience is a different buying decision from collecting an unrestricted archive of guests’ existing photos and videos. POV is free for up to 10 guests, with larger events priced by guest count. Test the camera, reveal settings and downloads with your chosen setup. Our POV alternative comparisonhelps separate entertainment from the collection job.

13. Wedding Studio: best fit for QR albums with printed keepsakes

Provider documentation · checked September 17, 2026. Wedding Studio advertises guest uploads without an app or signup, unlimited photos and videos, voice messages and up to five albums. Its promotional prices are $29 for up to 25 contributing devices, $49 for up to 100 and $99 for unlimited guests. It counts unique devices that upload, rather than invitations or album views.

Choose it if you want a digital album with optional printed keepsakes: QR cards start at $29 and photobooks at $59, separately from the album. The provider lists full-resolution ZIP export and album access from purchase until 12 months after the wedding. Shared and private viewing modes let hosts decide whether guests see other uploads.

The tradeoff: the entry price covers fewer contributing devices; a guest using two devices may affect your allowance. Check that limit before buying. We have not completed an upload/export test or verified byte-for-byte preservation, and the dated CSV retains the earlier September 12 research.

Setup used

QR cards were placed at the bar and on dining tables. A direct upload link was sent the next morning.

Derived calculations for this event

In this event, 58.7% of invited guests opened the upload link. 32.5% of invited guests contributed at least one file, and 55.4% of people who opened the link became contributors.

Contributors uploaded a mean of 17.4 files each; the median was 12. The collection contained 683 photos (95.9% of files) and 29 videos (4.1%).

This is one WeddingPhoto App wedding, so these numbers should not be treated as an expected participation rate for other weddings. Guest behavior can vary with audience, QR placement, reminders, venue connectivity and event format.

A useful host setup is to collect with guest viewing switched off, review the submissions, then open the gallery when you are ready. Guest downloads are a separate choice. This lets you ask everyone for photos without immediately showing every contribution to the whole wedding. See the gallery controls and guest upload walkthrough before choosing your settings.

Questions couples ask

What is the best wedding photo sharing app?

WeddingPhoto App is our overall pick for a hosted wedding guest gallery, combining account-free photo/video uploads, host review and original downloads. It starts at $39 for 15 post-event upload days; a 30-day requirement needs our $59 plan. Pix Starter is $49 with three months of uploads. Choose a Drive-based service if your own cloud account is the intended archive.

Do guests need an account to upload wedding photos?

WeddingPhoto App does not require a guest account. Other services also offer account-free contribution, including GUESTPIX, GuestCam and Glint. Test the exact upload link because a viewing link and an upload link can have different permissions.

Does a free QR code include photo storage?

No. A QR code encodes a destination. The service at that destination controls storage, upload limits, privacy and downloads. Check the album package separately from the code.

For a closer comparison, use the GUESTPIX alternatives shortlist or Pix Wedding alternative guide. If permissions decide the purchase, start with private gallery and guest access controls.

Make the ask easy
