Choose a wedding QR service by what opens after the scan. WeddingPhoto App suits private collection with host review; GUESTPIX adds event extras, Pix offers a small upload trial, Kululu centers on a photo wall, and WedUploader sends files to your Google Drive.
WeddingPhoto App publishes this comparison and is included below. We checked linked provider pages on September 26, 2026 and our implemented upload controls. These are documented workflows, not timed phone tests. A missing detail means it was not established by the sources checked, not that the product lacks it.

What each scan leads to
The following paths describe the documented destination and any retained demo observation. We have not completed competitor uploads in this review. Phone-picker layout, multi-select behavior, retry messages and final confirmation must be tested on your own event link.
- WeddingPhoto App: QR → guest event page → upload page without login → phone picker with multiple selection → transfer → successful/failed file result → gallery if the host enables viewing. A partial failure leaves failed files selected for retry.
- GUESTPIX: QR/private link → event collection without registration → photo/video submission → shared gallery. Its wedding pagedocuments the workflow and full-resolution ZIP. Exact picker and confirmation screens were not inspected; our earlier check stopped at the separate demo-request form.
- Pix Wedding: QR → browser album → upload action → camera or gallery choice and name field. That last screen was observed in the September 12 public demo; no file was sent. Pix's published plans describe photo/video collection and ZIP export; completion and retry behavior remain untested.
- Kululu: QR on a sign or screen → digital album → contribution without registration → photos/videos available to the album and wall under event settings. Kululu documents this path; picker details and the precise success message were not established here.
- WedUploader: QR → browser album → guest selects media → transfer into the host's Drive → host upload notification. A shared album is available in the published package. Guest confirmation and batch-picker details were not tested.
- Dropbox: your generated QR → file-request page → choose/add files → submit to the host's folder. Dropbox's file-request documentationexplains account-free submission. The request does not provide a shared wedding gallery.

A code printed where anyone can scan it is a shared invitation, not identity verification. Check the event in a signed-out browser. For a reception screen, verify whether approval happens before display; deleting a picture afterward does not undo its appearance on the wall.
Can you print once and use the same code afterward?
WeddingPhoto App, GUESTPIX, Pix, Kululu and WedUploader provide printable event codes or templates. Dropbox supplies the request link; you encode that URL separately. Reprinting a code does not extend hosting. Do not change the guest URL after ordering stationery without testing the old cards again.
WeddingPhoto App's code reaches the same event after the wedding, but uploads stop at the plan deadline and storage later expires. GUESTPIX Classic and Pix Starter publish separate upload and hosting windows, so a later scan does not necessarily allow contribution. Kululu stops uploads when active time ends. WedUploader advertises no album expiry, subject to the connected Drive's capacity. A closed Dropbox request stops accepting files. Exact competitor expiry-screen wording was not inspected.
Use the file count, not just the starting price
For 30 post-event upload days, WeddingPhoto App requires Celebration at $59 rather than Intimate at $39. Pix Starter publishes three months at a promotional $49. Kululu's pricing FAQ describes Plus for up to 500 uploads, so 1,000 photos and 50 videos exceed that allowance. Check its current checkout quote. These are planning examples, not measured guest behavior.

Pick a QR service by the destination, not the square
For a reception screen, put the display controls first. For private collection, check that guests can submit without browsing. For a long follow-up, compare the final contribution date before the headline price. Then ask how you will retrieve a complete archive: an album that looks good on a phone still needs a practical original-file handoff.
Choose one service before printing. The photo QR setup and sign maker handles the next step. If the destination is an RSVP or wedding website instead, use the general wedding QR generator; it makes the code without supplying a photo gallery.
