GUESTPIX packages: upload time and hosting time

The GUESTPIX package cards, checked September 26, 2026, distinguish the Bundle's purchase-based clock from the single-gallery event-based periods. Its general FAQ describes event-date hosting. Confirm your package's actual dates before buying early. A purchase twelve months before the wedding would consume half of a purchase-based 24-month period; that is an example, not an account-expiry test.

Guest access, privacy and the finished collection

GUESTPIX documents browser access by QR or private link without guest registration. The packages list photos, videos, moderation, slideshow, invitations with RSVPs, and written and video guestbooks. Its page also lists full-resolution ZIP export. These are published features, not an independent export-quality measurement.

Link access is shareable access: someone can forward the invitation. Test who can upload, view and download before distributing it, and confirm whether guestbook material is included in the archive. The published unlimited allowance has a fair-use qualification and an up-to-1,000-guests-per-event limit. Keep a separate backup before hosting ends.

Choose GUESTPIX if you want invitation and RSVP tools alongside the gallery or need its longer collection window. WeddingPhoto App suits couples who already have those jobs handled and want focused collection with host review and original ZIP export. Our entry package's shorter deadline is a real tradeoff, not something the lower starting price cancels out.

How to read GUESTPIX reviews and complaints

Look for the review date, package, event size and the specific problem described. A comment about a viewing setting does not establish a lost original, and a selected testimonial does not measure participation across all weddings. Ask the provider how an issue was resolved and test the setting that matters to you. We have not calculated a rating or a complaint rate.

First identify the reason you are looking elsewhere

For a 30-day post-wedding collection, compare WeddingPhoto App Celebration at $59 with Pix Starter at a promotional $49. Our $39 entry plan only covers 15 post-event upload days. For 1,050 media files, Kululu Plus's 500-upload cap is insufficient. These requirement checks are more useful than ordering alternatives by their headline price.

GUESTPIX combines photo collection with invitations, RSVPs, guestbooks and other wedding features on its official wedding page. Some couples want that broader package. Others already have invitations and an RSVP system and only need a place for guest files. Start with the missing feature or budget constraint, then evaluate alternatives against it.

1. WeddingPhoto App: a gallery focused on guest photos and videos

Guests use a QR code or link without creating accounts. Hosts control gallery visibility, review-before-publish and guest downloads. One-time plans are $39, $59 and $89 USD; upload windows end 15, 45 or 180 days after the event, with two months, six months or one year of storage respectively. A slideshow is included in Celebration and Forever. Compare the exact controls in our package and deadline comparison above.

Our practical pick is Intimate when you only need collection and can finish the follow-up within 15 days after the wedding. Choose Celebration when you want the slideshow or expect guests to send files after returning from a honeymoon or trip. Forever covers three events with a longer upload window; its one year of storage is a deadline to plan around, not permanent archiving. Confirm the plan details against your dates.

Try the interactive guest preview before choosing a plan. It uses sample photos so you can explore without signing in. Your real event provides the upload link, QR code and host controls.

For example, you can collect speeches and dance-floor clips privately, review what arrived, then enable guest viewing for the selection you want to share. Guests contributing files do not have to receive permission to browse the whole collection. The private gallery guide explains those controls. Rehearse the settings before the event so your helper knows what will appear.

2. Kululu: a live photo wall with a 500-upload Plus plan

Kululu emphasizes the live photo wall alongside collection. Put it on your shortlist if the reception screen is central to your plan. Test the display on the venue’s equipment and check how approved photos reach the screen.

Kululu Plus currently costs $39 USD on promotion and accepts up to 500 photo/video uploads. Its live wall makes it worth considering for a reception screen. Compare the higher Pro tier if you need manual approval or expect to exceed the Plus allowance, and check when the event stops accepting uploads.

3. Pix Wedding: try uploads and compare the entry-plan window

Pix Wedding offers a browser-based wedding sharing workflow. Compare its current tier against your expected files and collection period. Request a guest demo where possible so you can inspect the experience without relying only on sales-page screenshots.

A live screen is a separate decision from collecting files. If you shortlist Kululu for that reason, also compare WeddingPhoto App’s Celebration and Forever plans, which include a slideshow. 4. Dropbox: collect files into storage you already manage

A Dropbox file request accepts uploads without guest Dropbox accounts. It can work when you already have adequate storage and prefer organizing the collection yourself. It does not replace an integrated wedding guestbook, slideshow or album presentation.

Use the Dropbox setup guide and storage estimator to plan the collection. The request itself does not let guests browse each other’s files. If sharing the album during the wedding is important, include that extra step when comparing the total setup.

Switch before you print, or plan the change carefully

If guests have already started uploading to GUESTPIX, first separate “moving the files” from “moving the invitation.” Downloading the old gallery does not update a printed QR code or transfer guestbook entries, album organization and comments into another service. Confirm which items you need to preserve before closing the original collection.

1. Save any files already collected and verify that the download opens.
2. Create and test the new guest destination on two different phones.
3. Check whether existing printed codes point directly to the old service. A direct code cannot be changed by editing a new album.
4. Replace cards and update the wedding website, then send one clear link to guests.
5. Keep a record of both services’ collection and download deadlines until the move is complete.

Send that message only after confirming you have the earlier files. Keep the old service’s download deadline in your calendar until you have opened the backup and checked a few photos and videos. A successful file download is more useful evidence than an album count displayed in a dashboard.
