Short answer
Fotify reviews favor its helpful support and combined event tools. Choose Photo Gallery at $29.99 for photos, or Premium at $49.99 for video and a larger RSVP list. The main limits are video length, plan deadlines and extra email/SMS credits. It suits hosts who want invitations and a live gallery together; a simple photo collection may not need all those tools.

The official pricing page separates photo-sharing guests from invitation allowances. Premium clips are limited to 30 seconds and 80 MB; its 100 longer videos can each run up to five minutes. Professional removes that count cap, not the five-minute ceiling. Email and SMS delivery use credits.
Pros and cons
- Pro: invitations, RSVPs and the live photo carousel can share one event setup.
- Pro: the free event lets you check the guest experience before upgrading.
- Con: a complete speech longer than five minutes does not fit the published video allowance as one file.
- Con: running several event tools takes more setup than collecting files alone.

What Fotify customers actually say
On Trustpilot, Patricio Huerta's June 22, 2026 review describes older guests successfully sharing photos and videos at a quinceañera. Marina Tedeschi's July 25 review praises planning tools and direct support. Ingo's June 1 review also praises support but says learning the wider feature set takes time and mentions feedback about gallery display and upload limits.
That feedback supports a narrower conclusion than “everyone finds it easy”: guest uploads and host configuration are different tasks. The sample also includes conferences and parties, so it is not exclusively wedding feedback.
Fotify's review-collection explanation says positive in-app responses trigger Trustpilot invitations, while lower responses go to support. Anyone can still post independently. That selection method matters when reading the overall sentiment; we have not independently authenticated purchases or calculated a rating.
Verdict: good fit for hosts using several tools
Choose Fotify when the guest list, invitations and reception carousel are part of the same job. Choose WeddingPhoto App if you want focused photo-and-video collection with host review. Its $39 plan costs less than Fotify Premium, but has shorter deadlines and no slideshow.

Is Fotify legit?
Fotify has a documented product, support guides and public customer reviews. Those are evidence of an operating service, not a guarantee of a particular event's outcome. Try its free event before paying.
Is Fotify's $29.99 plan enough for wedding videos?
No. The published Photo Gallery plan is for photos. Premium adds short clips and up to 100 longer videos, each up to five minutes.
Does Fotify's free plan limit photo-sharing guests?
It allows unlimited photo-sharing guests but only 50 photos and 20 digital invitations. The invitation limit is different from the number of people who can scan the photo QR code.
Can I upgrade after the event?
Fotify's help page says finished free events can reopen with an upgrade, but expired photos cannot be recovered that way. Finished paid events cannot be upgraded. Check the current event status before its deadline.
