Choosing a Picaggo alternative for selected guest uploads

What Picaggo is offering

Picaggo’s wedding page promotes SmartSync, a live wall, a digital guestbook and other album features. Its official App Store listing also describes browser contribution through a QR code. It would be inaccurate to call every Picaggo guest workflow a mandatory full-app download.

Choose the sharing behavior you want

Automatic collection may appeal when guests want to opt in once and participate throughout an event. Before choosing it, ask the provider which pictures are included, how the time window works, what access guests grant and how they stop sharing. Test those controls with a separate device.

Selected uploads ask guests to choose files each time they contribute. That gives them an explicit moment to decide what to send, but requires a reminder and a completed transfer. In WeddingPhoto App, guests select existing pictures and videos, then wait for upload confirmation. It does not automatically synchronize a guest’s camera roll.

Compare the extras you actually plan to use

If face-based finding, a digital guestbook or automatic collection is central to your wedding, evaluate Picaggo’s current package for those requirements. A simpler collection service should not be presented as a substitute for a feature it does not provide.

If you mainly want event QR uploads, host review and a downloadable collection, compare WeddingPhoto App’s documented functionality and plan windows. Its live slideshow is included in Celebration and Forever and depends on the relevant event settings.

Try these two guest scenarios

1. Ask one guest to share a picture taken before joining the event.
2. Ask another to take a picture they do not want shared, then inspect the selected workflow’s controls without uploading that private picture.
3. Check how each guest knows which files have been contributed.
4. Confirm that the host can download the contributed files and remove a test upload.
