Set up a hunt guests can actually finish

For a short cocktail hour, start with 8–10 easy tasks. For a reception, try 15 with several table-level pictures and a few dance-floor moments. These are suggested game sizes, not measured participation benchmarks. A longer list is an option, not an obligation.

  1. Choose the time guests can play without missing an important moment.
  2. Remove activities absent from your wedding and any prompt that feels too personal.
  3. Print one card per table or send a mobile checklist.
  4. Give guests one destination for the photos and explain when the game ends.
  5. Pick a favourite image or a creative interpretation; completion need not be competitive.

Keep the ceremony separate

The ceremony setting uses arrival and pre-ceremony prompts. An unplugged ceremony means cameras away once requested. Guests should never enter the aisle, interrupt a professional portrait, move decorations or persuade someone to pose after they decline.

A small wedding needs different challenges

The small-wedding setting excludes prompts needing a larger pool of guests. Family-friendly removes the cocktail prompt. All lists avoid humiliation, photographing someone asleep and pressuring people to drink. Read the final list yourself: the generator does not know your guests or venue.

How do we collect the photographs?

The checklist records completion on this device; it does not upload photographs. Add your gallery link alongside the shared checklist, or place a photo QR sign beside the printed cards. Test the upload destination with a guest phone before the wedding.

Suggested announcement: “There is a photo challenge card on your table. Pick a few that look fun, ask before photographing people, and use the photo sign to share your favourites. Join in whenever you like.”

Can each table have a different list?

Yes. Generate a list, download or copy its link, then generate another. Each link holds that version. This is a snapshot, not a live shared scoreboard. For numbered game cards, use the wedding bingo generator.

Should this replace the photographer's checklist?

No. Keep essential family portraits in your photographer shot list. Guest challenges are optional viewpoints, and no guest is responsible for documenting a once-only moment.
