Choose the wedding's time zone

The countdown uses the UTC offset you choose for the ceremony date. For a destination wedding, use the venue's offset on that date, including daylight saving if applicable. The same shared link then counts toward the same instant wherever your guests open it.

Days, weeks and months mean different things

The large number shows complete 24-hour periods until the ceremony. Weeks are complete seven-day periods; months vary in length, so the approximate month figure uses 30.44 days. A late-afternoon wedding can show zero full days while there are still several hours left.

Can I send this countdown to family?

Copy the share link for a live countdown or download a PNG card for a fixed snapshot. The link contains your names, date and venue text. Use a general venue label if you do not want to circulate the exact location. The card does not keep counting once downloaded.

Use deadlines from your actual bookings

The suggested milestones are a starting point. Your caterer's headcount deadline and stationery lead time take precedence. Build a seating plan when replies arrive and a reception schedule with your coordinator.

What happens after the wedding?

The timer stops at zero and changes to a celebration message. Your date stays saved on this browser until you clear browser storage. This tool creates no calendar reminders or automatic messages.
